The application aims to provide a seamless and enjoyable experience by facilitating navigation, exploration, and engagement in various entertainment venues organized by the General Entertainment Authority (GEA).

Brainstorm:

  • Conduct extensive desk research to understand the challenges faced by visually impaired individuals in public events.

  • Identify existing solutions and gaps in addressing accessibility issues for visually impaired users.

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather insights into the specific requirements and goals of the application.

Define:

  • Conduct user interviews with visually impaired individuals to empathize with their pain points and gather firsthand experiences.

  • Analyze scientific findings related to methodologies like desk research, user interviews, and usability testing to inform the design process.

  • Define clear user personas and scenarios based on the gathered data to guide the design decisions.

  • Collaborate with experts in accessibility and user experience to establish design principles that prioritize inclusivity.

Design:

  • Utilize the insights from the previous stages to create wireframes and prototypes for the smartphone application.

  • Implement a user interface that focuses on simplicity, intuitive navigation, and compatibility with assistive technologies.

  • Incorporate feedback from visually impaired users through iterative usability testing to refine and improve the design.

  • Ensure that the application's design reflects the preferences and needs of the targeted users.

Overall Purpose:

  • Empower visually impaired individuals to navigate and explore entertaining events organized by GEA with confidence and enjoyment.

  • Enhance user experience by addressing specific pain points through thoughtful design, ensuring inclusivity and accessibility.
